Welcome to Starscape Imaging. My goal is simple; show you some fantastic images of the universe around us. These images were taken with commercially available telescopes, lenses and digital cameras from my backyard observatory in Ocean Springs, MS, and other places I have been fortunate enough to visit. I hope you enjoy looking at the images and at the same time learn something about the expansive universe around us.

Calibrating your Monitor: Due to the extreme range in brightness of astronomical images, use the calibration bar below to adjust your monitor. You should see a difference in shading in each of the seventeen bars from black to white. Usually, an increase in brightness and contrast is required. You should end up with a slight difference between the last two darkest bars. Black should be as black as possible and white as white as possible.
