this Object This image was created by doing two alignments, one on the stars and one on the comet. The comet was subtracted out of the star field using the image which was aligned on the stars. Then the image which was aligned on the comet had the stars subtracted from it, leaving just the comet. These two images were combined resulting in the above image.
