NGC 1491

About this Object
NGC 1491 is a emission nebula in the Constellation Perseus. The above left image combines 10hrs worth of data taken through Red, Green, Blue and Hydrogen Alpha filters. The image of the same object on the right was taken through narrowband SII, Ha, and OIII filters and is a false color image with 19hrs worth of data. SII was mapped to Red, Ha was mapped to Green and OIII was mapped to blue.
