About
this Object Also called ARP 242, NGC 4676A and 4676B are two small interacting galaxies in the constellation Coma Berenices. Together they are around magnitude 14.4 and roughly 5.5 arcmin in length and 4.3 arc min wide. Both galaxies exhibit tidal tails since they are gravitationally interacting. A fabulous image of these galaxies from the Hubble Space Telescope can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NGC4676.jpg
