NGC 6028

About this Object
NGC 6028 is a striking ring type galaxy in the Constellation Herculers. Its approximately 190million light years distant. Unique to this type of galaxy is a ring of blue star forming regions seperated by a realtively free void of material and a older orange core region. NGC 6028 is one of the closest "Hoag" type galaxies..
