NGC 660, Pisces, Distance 24 million light years

NGC 660 is a polar ring type galaxy.  One of the main prominent arms stretches in a circle around the galaxy.  This galaxy has very dim arms with a surface brightness of 14.2. This required 6hrs of luminance to allow enough enancement and minimize noise.  Many of the background galaxies visible are mag 16-18 .
