About
this Object The Pelican and North American Nebulas are show pieces of the summer sky. Residing next to each other just north of Cygnus, the Swan, these nebula are glowing clouds of hydrogen gas separated by a darker area which absorbs much of the light called LDN 935. Both these nebula can be seen with binoculars from a dark sky site as a bright patch of sky north of the star Deneb.
