NGC3953 is a Barred Sprial type Galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major.  It lies 46 million light years distant.  This image was taken on 21May 2002 under bright moonlight. Total exposure time was 60min with a Starlightxpress MX7C and 8"LX200.
