Abell 33, planetary nebula in Hydra

About this object

Abell 33 is a fairly dim planetary nebula in the constellation Hydra. The planetary nebula is about 4.5 arcmin around and shines at a magnitude of nearly +13 making it a very hard object to visually see without a large telescope. On the upper left part of the gas cloud is the star SAO 137026 shining at magnitude 7.
