The Milky Way around M11
About this object
This wide field image covers the area around M11, the "wild duck cluster" which borders the constellations Aquila and Scutum. M11 is the bright star cluster in the lower right part of the image. Within the MIlky Way around M11 are many dark nebula, galactic dust and star clusters.
