This image is of the Milky Way near the star Gamma Cygni, also known as Sadr. The reddish patch of ionized hydrogen is known as the Gamma Cygni Nebula and is shown in the upper left part of the image. This feature is a complex of stars, dark dust clouds and glowing nebula along the plane of the Milky Way.
